It’s a tough topic to broach but I’ve found that in the weight loss industry, directness can go a long way. the best trick is to not tell your patients them that they need a scale, or what the scale does. Show them your scale, tell them how you and your family enjoy using it at home to prepare meals, bake, measure, it’s fun for kids or for adults and makes any kitchen task that much less of well, a task. Show them how to use it and how simple it has really become. “Teach a man to fish, yadda yadda…”

Advances in scale technology have come a long way from the old rickety dial/spring scales. The Escali Liberta pocket scale can fit in anyone’s pocket or purse. Chicago Housewares Show ’09

This last March we attended the massive Home & Housewares show in Chicago’s McCormick center.

It was a great turnout even for a “recession year”. We got to meet some famous chefs and TV personalities, as well as some famous industrial and product designers.

We’ll definitely be back but not until 2011. By then we’ll have a few new products and lines to flaunt to the adoring public.
